The Nina, Tower, and playground.

The following pictures are from the weekend of October 6-7. Some friends from Georgia came up to visit, on Saturday we went down to the riverfront and went aboard the Nina (a replica of the smallest ship in Christopher Columbus's sailing fleet, also his favorite of all the ships.) After which we went to what we call the tower. An old water tower that has several levels on the top from which you can look out over the Illinois river and the surrounding area. At the bottom of the tower they have a playground, and they also have benches so we played, and rested while chatting.
