What a wonderful providence of God! We thought we would never "see" you again, John! I don't know if you remember us, Dr. and Mrs. Dan Frodge from Florida. We stopped by the Langston House in Florida a couple of times with some of our grandchildren and found that we had quite a bit in common with you. The last we had heard was that you had married and moved.
Our daughter, Mrs. Discher ( you met some of her children), came across your name and blog through a posting by someone named Joshua. What a nice surprise!
And what a precious baby you have -- and I know Mrs. Creath must be a godly young woman also. We are up to 22 grandchildren, with 2 more in Heaven and one more on the way, so we are truly blessed.
Dr. Frodge and our oldest grandson, RG (who was probably 13 or so when you met him -- now 17), went to the Witherspoon school this May and were blessed and strengthened. And the whole extended family just returned from the Vision Forum/Answers in Genesis Defending Your Faith conference in Branson, MO. What a special time that was -- not only to benefit from such fine godly teaching, but to be together as a family.
It is so good to see that you are attending James and Stacy McDonald's church -- we have been blessed by their blogs and writings. My husband extends his warmest regards and blessings as you and your little family grow in grace.

Of course I remember you and your wonderful family. I would ask you how you're doing but after reading your blog it appears that all is well...yes?
Just as a brief history, I left the Langston house in November of 2006 and started working fulltime in my Dad's business (marketing). In mid January of 2007 I took a vacation up to Peoria IL to visit my sister and brother-in-law (Joshua & Jana Peiffer. I presume this is the Joshua through which Mrs Disher ended up finging us.) While visiting the Peiffer's I attended several social gatherings hosted by Providence Church. Several members of Providence work at Samaritan Ministries and I got to know them over the course of my visit and ended up getting a job offer.
After accepting the job offer with Samaritan Ministries I quickly realized that the only thing delaying my proposing to Whitney Miller (now Mrs. Creath) had been the lack of a sufficient, steady income. Now that God had blessed me with that my parents and other trusted friends and myself saw no reason to delay pursuing marriage. I asked Whitney to marry me the week after I accepted the job offer. The week after that I moved to up to Peoria IL. On April 21st Whitney and I were married. Soon there after we found out that we were expecting. On February 3rd of this year John Winston Creath IV was born to us.
That is my life in the last 1 1/2 to 2 years in a nut shell. God has richly blessed me, His undeserving servant and I am still in wonder and awe at His goodness.
Please email me at johncreath (at)gmail.com so we can do some more catching up. It is so good to hear from you. Give my regards to Dr. Frodge and the rest of the family.

We trust this finds your father and mother and siblings doing well -- we presume they are still in Georgia? God bless you, John, and your family.
